Escape from the city. Love the surrounding area (hills and fields). The horses run around freely and are lovely, though a bit muddy!
Not great in February as they use this time to do most renovation works in preparation for spring-summer. Overall has great potential but seems to suffer from inability to keep up with maintenance needs of a farm location.

The location is good. The owner gave us all the information we need for travelling around.
Booked breakfast was very poor and be ready to prepare it by yourself. We booked appartament with a privat garden (there was just a terace), but we were surprised, when one evening came back and the terace was occupied by others and there was a mess and noise in front of our apartament. The staff could be more polite.

The Manager really makes this place special. He works really hard around the farm but is very laid back and always is happy to help. He gave our four children a horse riding lesson we will never forget - wonderful. Tenuta Agricola Fonte Di Papa and it's surrounding fields ( they have 40 horses, many retired, and olive groves) make you feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere but there are restaurants and supermarkets minutes away. Close enough to Rome to use this as a very reasonably priced base. We enjoyed the pool, table tennis and space to play football. There is a shared BBQ which we used. In the mornings we sat outside at the front of the apartment to make the most of the sun. The accomodation is basic and although the building is complete the owner is hoping to ad more finishing touches eg newer fridge and a non-squeaky bed would be good, but everything is spotless and the price we paid for 6 of us was a bargain compared to Rome and the Amalfi coast. Don't forget your mozzie spray. There are lots - but you are on a farm!
The breakfast is all pre-packaged (jam, nutella, croissants, french toast nice ground coffee etc) BUT there's milk and juices in the fridge on arrival. Go prepared and cook yourself something in the kitchen if you want a full English!

Great place and close to Rome, host was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the countryside setting, very relaxing and quiet. Good restaurants close-by. It had everything that we needed. Great place!
